Sunday is not the center of our community?

Via Bob Hyatt:

"No one thinks Sunday went as poorly as I did
No one thinks Sunday was as great as I did

Sunday is not the center of our community
If they can't handle Sunday, they probably won't hang with the community

No one thinks as much about the church as I do
Some people may have a dependence on our community that far outweighs even mine

It's not about me
My hard work or lack thereof make a difference, so I should work hard.

What else?"

It might be a good thing if all church leaders realized this. While the "church" might be the center of the pastor's life, it is probably not the center of most of its member's lives. Should it be?
